Responsibilities:
Reports to different work sites to complete required tasks/projects as directed
Knowledge and use of power tools such as drills, saws, and nail guns along with hand tools such as hammers, shovels, and follow instructions using plans.
Cleans and prepares construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
Tasks include wood/metal framing, drywall, FRP, T-Bar, tile, and concrete
Must be able to keep up in a fast paced environment and adapt to varying needs on job sites.
Have their own basic hand tools and cordless power tools.
Legibly complete paperwork & turn in timely
Expected to perform repetitive physical tasks that require lifting, pushing, and pulling of material/product and standing throughout each shift.
Must have valid California Driver License and clean driving record. Final candidate will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report, ability to successfully pass a drug screening and Criminal Background Check prior to hiring.
Qualifications:
Strong Carpentry Skills
Certified forklift drivers - all terrain, reach lift, sit down and/or stand up exp. with Certification.
Strong General Trade Experience
Insulated Metal Panels (IMP) is a plus
Finish experience
Thorough knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in both rough and finished carpentry in commercial / industrial settings; applicable building and safety code requirements; methods and practices followed in the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Flexibility – must be able to manage changes and work demands
